Mona Lisa Blount received Mississippi State Hospital’s (MSH) HERO Award for August. Blount, a social worker at MSH’s Grenada Crisis Intervention Center, received the award for her response to a telephone call from a person threatening suicide.
A native of Batesville, Blount has been employed at MSH for one year.
