Wesley Medical Center Volunteers Give 29,000 Hours of Service
Over the past year Wesley Medical Center volunteers have given 29,000 hours of service to the patients, visitors and employees of the hospital. And on Friday, May 2, those volunteers were honored for their never-ending spirit of giving.
Wesley Medical Center has 80 volunteers who perform a wide range of volunteer duties, which include manning the ICU family waiting area, transporting patients, answering telephones and knitting blankets and caps for the hospital’s NICU babies.
National Healthcare Volunteer Week is April 27 through May 4.
