Wesley Medical Center hires two new family practice physicians
Wesley Medical Center recently announced the addition of two family medicine physicians to its growing primary care division. Ginger Pace-Herndon, MD, and James W. Griffin, MD, will join existing practices with Wesley Medical Group in Sumrall and Purvis, respectively.
Dr. Ginger Pace-Herndon, a native of Sumrall, received her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. She completed her internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport in Alexandria, LA.
Dr. Pace-Herndon completed her bachelor’s degree at The University of Southern Mississippi College of Science Biology. She is an alumna of Sumrall High School.
Dr. Pace-Herndon will join the Wesley Medical Group Sumrall practice with Dr. Rebecca Jameson.
Dr. James Griffin received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. He then completed an internship and residency in family medicine at the Family Medical Residency Center at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Purdue University.
Dr. Griffin will join the Wesley Medical Group Purvis practice with Dr. Charles Griffith and Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Green.
Both Drs. Pace-Herndon and Griffin are board eligible.
