Beginning August 1, 2011, Dr. Madeline Ellis will join the Medical Associates of Richland as a pediatrician on behalf of Crossgates River Oaks Hospital. Dr. Ellis specializes in pediatrics and is excited to bring her knowledge to Richland.

The knowledge she brings will help us achieve our ever-reaching goal of providing the best quality care for our patients in the Jackson Metro area,” said Allen Trya, CEO of Crossgates River Oaks Hospital.
Dr. Ellis completed her undergraduate work at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following the completion of her medical degree, she completed a pediatric residency at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, located in St. Louis, Missouri.

When asked about how she was adjusting to the new area, Dr. Ellis said how excited she is to be
working with such a great facility, and to live with her husband and daughters in such a great
area.
“I am completely dedicated to family and my community and I look forward to the opportunities to serve as a pediatrician, as well as in the community,” said Ellis. “We (Crossgates River Oaks Hospital) are bringing a much needed service to the residents of Richland and I am thankful for the opportunity and excited to begin working with the residents of the community and surrounding areas.”
Dr. Ellis will begin practicing at the Medical Associates of Richland on August 1st, 2011. The state of the art facility will enable Dr. Ellis to provide pediatric patients with the highest quality care available, which is the first and foremost goal of Crossgates River Oaks Hospital, and all its affiliated clinics. The clinic is located at 1201 Highway 49 South, Suite 1 in Richland.
