Pamela Denson, Certified Nursing Assistant, was named the 2011 Scott Regional Hospital Employee of the 1st Quarter. Pamela has worked at Scott Regional Hospital since March 2008.
Pamela lives in Morton and is a 1992 graduate of Morton High School. She is married to Rev. Marcus Denson and they have three children, Roderick, Jaqueline, and Isaiah. She is the daughter of Eddie Childs and Jessie Grant. Pamela and her family are active at Lee's Chapel M.B. Church. She attends Bible class and Sunday school and participates in the praise team ministry and the women's fellowship.
She enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with her family and church family, and studying God's words.
"I enjoy working at Scott Regional Hospital and working with the nurses because they are really nice and sweet. They really care for the patients and that's what nursing is about" said Pamela.
Margie Majure, RN, Director of Nursing, stated that she frequently hears compliments from patients about Pamela. Not only does she go the extra mile in her work, she is also kind and soft spoken with a huge smile.
