Mississippi State Hospital recently honored employees with May anniversary dates for their years of service. Several employees were recognized for multiple decades of service to the hospital.
Two employees were honored for three decades or more.
Annie McAfee of Brandon has worked at MSH for 35 years. She works in the Community Services Division of the hospital.
Earnest Myers of Brandon was recognized for providing 30 years of service. Myers works in the Maintenance Department.
Two others were recognized for providing 25 years of service to MSH.
Jenette Thomas, of Canton, works in the Inpatient Services Division.
Kenneth Dixon, of Jackson, is a property officer in the Fiscal Services Division of MSH.
Linda McLaurin of Brandon was also recognized for providing 20 years of service. McLaurin is an Active Treatment Technician at Mississippi State Hospital.
Service Awards are given to employees in the month of their date of hire, beginning with their first year and followed by every fifth anniversary year. Employees receive a Certificate of Appreciation and a Service Award Pin. The program is sponsored by Friends of Mississippi State Hospital Inc.
