Attorneys' meeting scheduled May 24

Attorneys for the governor's office of Medicaid and The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi will meet with a judge next month to set out a schedule for written arguments in a lawsuit that seeks to stop $20 million annual payments to the anti-tobacco group. Moderate success for AG's office in 2005 session

Link - Attorney General Jim Hood had a wish list of nearly 20 bills when the 2005 Legislature began. As the session nears an end, it appears only five of Hood's proposals, or those his office endorsed, will become law.
