The Care Fund
The Care Fund has been established to provide assistance to our family of hospital employees who so desperately need our help in wake of the devastating tornadoes and floods in the South. All the funds raised through this effort will be distributed by hospitals in the affected areas to their employees who need it most. Donate online or find more information at www.thecarefund.net. Mississippi Flood Updates
- On May 3, Gov. Haley Barbour requested President Obama declare 11 counties along the Mississippi River as disaster areas in anticipation of major flooding. The counties requested include Adams, Bolivar, Claiborne, Coahoma, Desoto, Issaquena, Jefferson, Tunica, Warren, Washington and Wilkinson. Other counties will be added as appropriate. This blog will keep Mississippi hospitals updated with the latest information on the flooding and how it could affect your hospitals, your employees, and your communities.
