On August 23, the Mississippi Hospital Association will host a workshop, Recovery Audit Contractors (RAC): Outpatient Psych & Inpatient Psych, at the MHA Conference Center in Madison from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
This course has been developed at the memberships request to address the documentation and reimbursement issues related to psychiatric services for Inpatient Psychiatric, Outpatient Psychiatric, Partial Hospitalization, and Physician Psychiatric services. There are very detailed coverage determinations for psychiatric CPT codes, Ambulatory Payment Classification and IPPS Psychiatric Services.
This course is designed to assist the participant with the identification of resources and the requirements for documentation. Additionally the reimbursement methodologies will be discussed for the various provider types. Emphasis will be placed on Medicare Requirements for coverage, documentation and reimbursement.
