On Wednesday, Oct. 24, the Mississippi Hospital Association will host a program to serve as an opening dialogue on early elective deliveries in our state from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the MHA Conference Center in Madison. This program will educate hospital staff and physicians about EED issues focusing on data, evidence-based practice, and best practices from successful initiatives. Attendees will be encouraged to identify local provider champions to lead initiatives in Mississippi.
The program is designed for OB directors and managers, OB medical directors, quality directors and stakeholders who are currently engaged in the Mississippi State Department of Health's infant mortality efforts and MHA's Hospital Engagement Network.
There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. An agenda is available here. Register online here. For more information, contact Judith Forshee at (800) 289-8884, (601) 368-3216 or jforshee@mhanet.org.
