Funny Business gives us some interesting tidbits on the conundrum of the glass ceiling.

She touches on some recent findings from an article in The Economist that shows the glass ceiling phenomenon is persistent and does not seem to be getting better. And the "mommy track" argument is not holding up well anymore either.

So many people have erroneously believed that the glass ceiling that has prevented women in general from advancing in the business world has disappeared. Then we hear disturbing reports such as this one that it persists and women are not achieving all they should, through no fault of their own.
