MRHC Auxiliary announces scholarship award winners

The Magnolia Regional Health Center Auxiliary of Corinth has yearly scholarship awards for students who reside in the area served by their center. The chosen field of study must be related to physical health.

Nineteen students were awarded $32,000 in scholarships for the 2006-2007 year of study. Twelve of the students will be attending Mississippi colleges.

The Auxiliary has hosted the scholarships for over 10 years and many of the students have returned to serve at MRHC.

KDMC Auxiliary hosting Book Sale

The King's Daughters Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting a two-day Book Sale on Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16. The times are Tuesday 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the KDMC Crowley Room.

This event will feature NEW books in many categories, including fiction, non fiction, spiritual, hobbies, gardening, humor, cookbooks, children’s books and more as well as CD music sets, bath and body products and other gifts. The KDMC Auxiliary uses the funds to make improvements for the facility year-round. Bring a friend and browse. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Shop for graduation and Father’s Day early!
