The Mississippi Hospitals for Hope campaign is a collaborative venture that teams the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency, the Mississippi Lions Eye Bank, and the Mississippi Hospital Association, and hospitals across Mississippi in an effort to save lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Participating in the Hospitals for Hope campaign is simple and can be combined with your hospital's current plans for outreach during National Donate Life Month in April. Participation is as easy as sending an e-mail to staff encouraging them to learn more about organ, eye, and tissue donation or posting a message on Facebook.
The challenge is structured so that any size hospital can be recognized for its efforts. You can choose activities that best fit your hospital’s campaign. A press release will announce your hospital’s partnership in Mississippi Hospitals for Hope and your hospital will be listed on the website at www.mshospitalsforhope.com as a participant. Top hospitals will be recognized every year during MHA's Leadership Conference in four categories: Hospital 25 beds and under, Hospital 26 beds to 100, Hospital 101-200 beds, and Hospital over 200 beds.
For more information, contact Shawn Rossi at (800) 289-8884, (601) 368-3237 or srossi@mhanet.org. To participate, fill out this form and send it to Shawn via email at srossi@mhanet.org or via fax at (601) 368-3200.
