The JCAHO and the National Quality Forum are soliciting candidate performance measures for a set of endorsed measures for venous thromboembolism (VTE) throughout the continuum of care.
One of the goals is to develop and endorse performance measures to assess the quality of care for persons at risk for VTE.
Candidate measures are targeting, but are not limited to, risk assessment/stratification, prophylaxis/prevention, therapy, and patient education.
