The Mississippi Department of Health (MDH) Office of Health Disparity Elimination will host a grant-writing orientation from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, June 29, in Suite 200 of the Osborne Building at MDH Central Office, 570 E. Woodrow Wilson Ave., in Jackson.
The orientation, which follows the Communities in Action workshops held in various areas of the state during the past several months, will offer orientation for completing applications for Building Health Equity grants for community and faith-based groups and organizations. The sessions will include information on completing a mini-grant application proposal for funding through the MDH Office of Health Disparity Elimination. Grant funding is available from $3,000 to $10,000.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
