On Thursday, October 30, the Mississippi Hospital Association, in collaboration with the Mississippi Patient Safety Coalition, Healthcare Providers Insurance Company, the Mississippi Association for Healthcare Quality, and the MHA Society for Healthcare Risk Management, will host the 3rd annual Mississippi Patient Safety Summit at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson. The summit is designed for nurses, physicians, pharmacists, health care executives, risk managers, patient safety and quality professionals, and health care educators.
The keynote speaker is Elizabeth A. Griffin, RRT, MPA, director of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, where she recently served as faculty for the 100,000 Lives and 5 Million Lives campaigns.
The cost to attend is $95. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The first session will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the meeting will adjourn at 3 p.m. A room rate of $114 has been secured at the Hilton.
