The 4th annual Mississippi Patient Safety Summit is set for Oct. 14 at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson. The patient safety summit is a program offered by the Mississippi Hospital Association in collaboration with the Mississippi Patient Safety Coalition, HealthCare Providers Insurance Company (RRG), MHA Society for Healthcare Risk management and the MHA Patient Safety Special Interest Group.
As the patient safety movement continues to expand, there is growing recognition that the disciplines of patient safety, risk management and quality all contribute to a common goal of improved patient care and outcomes. By working together, these disciplines can accomplish much more than the sum of their individual efforts. This summit will offer insight into the culture that is necessary to promote the collaboration and the parallel interest that connects the disciplines. Speakers include John D. Banja, John Nance, and Michael Leonard.
The cost is $95 per person. A full agenda/registration form is attached below. For more information or to register, contact Karen Anding at (800) 289-8884 or kanding@mhanet.org. You may also register online at www.mhafoundation.org.
