Make your plans today to join us at the Jackson Convention Center for the 4th Annual Mississippi Patient Safety Summit on Wednesday, October 14. The audience will be nurses, physicians, pharmacists, health care executives, risk managers, patient safety and quality professionals, and healthcare educators.
The patient safety summit is a program co‐sponsored by MHA Health Research and Education Foundation and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in collaboration with the Mississippi Patient Safety Coalition, Healthcare Providers Insurance Company (RRG), MHA Society for Healthcare Risk Management and the MHA Patient Safety Special Interest Group.
Nationally known speakers John D. Banja and Michael Leonard will present topics of interest including developing error disclosure practices in healthcare organizations, conducting model ethics consultations in clinical and translational research environments, and communication and teamwork in high risk areas such as surgery, obstetrics, and critical care. Keynote speaker John J. Nance will share with the audience how to use the lessons from the recent revolution in aviation safety to equally revolutionize the patient safety performance of hospitals, doctors, nurses, and all of healthcare.
As a sponsor of this Summit, you will receive a 6‐ft table to set up your display, a roster of attendance with contact information, and appropriate signage in the printed literature. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.
