On May 18 and on May 19, the Mississippi Hospital Association will host a FREE one-day Joint Commission Emergency Standards Base Camp.

Instructors from the Joint Commission Resources will explain The Joint Commission’s Emergency Management (EM) chapter in easy terms that you will understand. You will gain knowledge on emergency preparedness standards that will enable you to help your facility maintain compliance with both the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation for Emergency Preparedness.
Our instructors will also provide strategies for continuous compliance and developing emergency management exercises. This is a great opportunity for both new or veteran healthcare staff to learn critical standards and requirements.
