The 2017 Breastfeeding in Mississippi: Empowering Hospitals and Communities Forum will be held at the Jackson Marriott on Wednesday, May 24, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (registration will be from 8:30-9:00, and the forum will begin at 9:00).
The day will consist of discussions about Mississippi success stories about how families, health care providers and communities a have partnered to support breastfeeding choices by Mississippians. There will be dialogue about counseling techniques as well as involving dads and grandmothers in breastfeeding support.
