The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) is now accepting Letters of Intent and Institutional Support online for qualified candidates to become one of the Palliative Care Leadership Centers - the nation’s premier training and mentoring initiative for palliative care program development and growth.
“One new pediatric PCLC and one new PCLC from select areas of the southern and southwestern regions of the U.S. will be chosen through a competitive call for proposals,” says Carol Sieger, CAPC Deputy Director.
The pediatric palliative care program applicants may be located anywhere in the continental U.S. while palliative care program applicants from the southern and southwestern regions of the U.S. must be located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Texas.
The application process consists of two steps. Qualifying applicants are required to first submit Letters of Intent and Institutional Support by March 15, 2008. Programs selected for further consideration will then be invited to submit full proposals.
